The Becker Dance Team finished off their season competing at the MSHSL State Tournament for the second year and second time in a row this past weekend. 

The jazz team took eighth place in the state, beating their last year’s placement of 10th. The kick team took 11th place. 

“Overall, the Bulldogs looked strong at the tournament, dancing more athletes in each routine than most of their competitors,” Head Coach Nadia Fischer-Danzeisen said. “Looking into next season, I think we’ll be extremely competitive now that we’ve exposed most of our team to competing at such a high level.”

And, the squad is only losing two seniors in Amanda Krenz and Stephanie Kluge. 

“Though, those two shoes will be hard to fill as they’re both incredible leaders for our team and know what to do during times of adversity,” said Fischer-Danzeisen.  

“The dance team would like to thank the community, the high school activities office/administration office, and their parents for all the support they received throughout the season; noting, they couldn’t have done it without you.”
