The Becker 15U-1 and 15U-2 Inferno volleyball teams participated in tournaments the last two weekends with the 15U-1 team taking the three Gold Championships and the 15U-2 team taking Silver Jan. 14. 15U-1 Inferno. The 15U-1 team — coached by Angie Esler and Patty Lindbom — is 17-0 for the season so far with three first places in tournaments.
Two weeks ago, the 15U-1 team played masterfully, taking first place in the Gold Division of the Heartland Freeze Tournament Jan. 14 in Monticello.
They went on to capture another first place finish in last weekend’s tournament entitled “Kill the Chill” at Century High School in Forest Lake. The 16U Crossfire Tournament was held the next day and team repeated its success.
The 15U-1 Inferno team consists of Emilie Baumgartner, Ashlyn Croal, Emma Eickhoff, Brooke Hendrickson, Skylar Kipka, Jenna Kringler, Kady Lindbom, Kyanna Marx, Jenna Olson, Ellie Wenner and Grace Wraspir.
15U-2 Inferno
The Becker Inferno volleyball 15U-2 team also took first place in the Silver Division of the Heartland Freeze Tourney.
The team consists of Brooke Hendrickson, Jenna Kringler, Emma Eickhoff, Emilie Baumgartner, Emma Halvorson, Kyanna Marx, Alexandra Rydeen, Kalyn Sherman, Grace Wraspir, Madison Neuman, Reese Arbuckle, Ellie Wenner, Ashlynne Kuklok, Ashlyn Croal, Anika Dehmer, McKayla Ewing, Kady Lindbom, Alyssa Pettit, Madison Bartlett, Jenna Olson and Skylar Kipka.
They are coached by Lynnae Kuklok and Kristopher Rydeen.
