The Big Lake/Princeton boys’ lacrosse team went 2-1 this past week, including wins over Cloquet/Esko/Carlton and ROCORI. 

Vs. Lumberjacks

On Saturday, the team made the trip north to take on the Lumberjacks of Cloquet/Esko/Carlton. The Huskies came home with an impressive 13-5 victory over their hosts. 

Landon Bagne led the team with five goals scored and had one assist. Jack Midas also had six points with three goals and three assists. 

Vs. ROCORI

On Tuesday, the team earned a 9-2 victory over the visiting ROCORI Spartans. The Huskies were led by their defense on goaltending in this one. The team held their opponents scoreless in three of the four quarters and goalie Hank Kuchera stopped 10 of 12 shots. Bagne again led the team with four goals and added two assists. 

Vs. Magic

Last Thursday, the Huskies were defeated by Monticello 11-3. 

Up Next

The team will be tested this week with three games on the road. They head to Chisago Lakes Thursday, then Sartell-St. Stephen on Friday, and Elk River next Tuesday.
