Husky boys’ lacrosse loses 3

The Big Lake/Princeton boys’ lacrosse team lost three times in the last week to Chisago Lakes, Sartell/Sauk Rapids, and Elk River.

Last Thursday the team lost 18-6 at Chisago Lakes. A 6-0 advantage in the third quarter for the Wildcats was the difference maker in this one. The Huskies were only trailing 8-3 at halftime before Chisago blew the game open with their big third quarter. Jack Midas and Beau McCrone each had two goals for the team, while Midas also added three assists. Ethan Grafnitz and Rowen Cremers scored once each, and Gavin Krebs had one assist.

On Friday the team travelled to Sartell High School and lost 17-3. Trailing only 3-2 after the first quarter, the Huskies were outscored 11-1 in the middle two quarters. Landon Bagne scored once for the team.

And on Tuesday the Huskies fell 9-4 against Elk Rapids/Zimmerman.

Next up for the team is a home game on Thursday against Becker. Then they will travel to Brainerd on Friday before returning home for a game next Tuesday against St. Cloud.
