The Big Lake Swim and Dive team competed at the Section 5A championship meet on November 9-11, and went home with an eighth place finish and one state qualifier. 

Torri Ramert finished second in the 1-meter dive which was good enough for her to qualify for the state tournament last weekend. The state championships were held at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatics Center at the University of Minnesota. Ramert represented the Hornets well with a 12th place finish in her event.
