The Big Lake boys’ basketball team picked up their first two wins of the season this week against a pair of conference foes.

The first came last Friday against North Branch by a score of 71-58. And on Tuesday the team hit the road and came home with a 90-77 victory over Princeton. 

Last Thursday the team lost a non-conference matchup against Hutchinson 81-73. 

Another Mississippi 8 Conference game awaits the Hornets as they will welcome the Zimmerman Thunder to town on Thursday.
