Zimmerman High School’s boys’ basketball team beat Big Lake 90-69 in a Dec. 19 game, with the Thunder dominating the floor with 90 points and outscoring the Hornets by 21. This was a strong win for Zimmerman, who celebrated the victory and are now 5-1 on the young season.

Vs. Chisago Lakes

On Dec. 15, the Hornets hosted the Wildcats of Chisago Lakes and clawed their way to a 81-70 victory.

Judd Layton was the Hornets’ leading scorer with 16. followed by Leroy Hamerin with 15 and Eddie reinnert with 14.
