The Big Lake swimming and diving team travelled to Becker on Saturday to compete in the Section 5A True Team meet. The team finished sixth place overall. 

Emily Edlund was the top performer for the day. She finished third in the 50-yard free with a time of 26.54 seconds and fifth in the 100-yard free with a time of 58.74 seconds. Torri Ramert also had a solid day. She took fifth place in the 1-meter dive with a score of 338.15. 

The team now gets a few weeks off from competitions before the section tournament. That will start on November 7 at Becker High School.
