Last Thursday, the Hornet swimmers and divers competed against St. Cloud Apollo and won by a score of 100-87.

The 200 Medley Relays swept the event taking first, second and third;
In the 200 Individual Medley, Emilie Vega out touched Apollo and took first. In the 50 Freestyle, Allie Thompson took first. Big Lake’s divers did fantastic and took first (Britney Krumrei), second (Hannah Strom) and fourth (Tori Ramert).
Following diving, Jaden Anderson took first and Jadyn Kluk took second in the 100 Fly. Big Lake got the top two spots again in the 100 Freestyle with Brynlee Hillukka taking first and Rowan Payne taking second. Katlyn Emerson finished first, touching out the Apollo swimmer in the 100 Backstroke.
The JV swimmers competed against Apollo, Princeton and Holdingford and took home first place!
Coach Mitchell commented on the meet, “Our team had great races and dives. I’m excited for our swimmers and divers to compete against Holdingford on Tuesday.”
