Big Lake Swim  and Dive hosted  an event where they invited the Big Lake football team to the pool for a fun function this past weekend.

The event was called, Swimming vs Football for Randy Shaver’s Cure For Cancer Foundation. It was a great event that both teams enjoyed and also raised money for a great cause and the community.

Guests were asked to donate at least $5 at the door with all proceeds going towards the cancer fund. Family and friends were invited and all guests were asked to wear the color pink.

The boys had a warm-up in the pool at 10 a.m. while the girls started their warm-ups at 10:30 a.m. The meet kicked off at 11 a.m. and all who participated and attended were rewarded with a fun day.
