The Big Lake Hornets sports teams had an eventful week. Following is an encapsulated rundown of games, meets, and matches.

Hornet Softball

The Hornet ladies improved to 4-1 with a win over Chisago Lakes Tuesday by a score of 3-1. The Hornets had two previous games scheduled this past week, but the one against Princeton was postponed and the one against St. Cloud Apollo was cancelled. 

Next up, they traveled to St. Francis Thursday and hosted Monticello Friday.

Hornet Baseball

The Hornet boys baseball team fell to 2-4 with a loss to Chisago Lakes Tuesday by a score of 4-3.

Next up, they hosted St. Francis Thursday and traveled to Monticello Friday.

Hornet Boys Lacrosse

The boys rebounded from an 0-3 start to the season by drubbing Rocori, 17-5 Monday at home.

Up next, they traveled to Sartell/Sauk Rapids Thursday for an early evening matchup.

Hornet Girls Lacrosse

The Hornet girls fell to 0-4 with a 7-3 loss to Rocori Tuesday on the road.

Next up, they hosted Sartell/Sauk Rapids Wednesday.
