The Big Lake Hornets sports teams had an eventful week. Following is an encapsulated rundown of games, meets, and matches.

Hornet Softball

The Hornet ladies improved to 3-1 with a big win over Becker last Thursday (April 22) on their home turf. 

Next up, they traveled to Princeton Thursday and hosted St. Cloud Apollo Friday.

Hornet Baseball

The Hornet boys baseball team fell to 2-3 with a loss to Zimmerman last Friday (April 23) by a score of 8-2.

Next up, they travel to Chsiago Lakes Tuesday and host St. Francis Thursday.

Hornet Boys Lacrosse

The boys dropped their first three meatches to start the season. In their first match, they lost to Chisago Lakes on the road, 30-0. In game two, they lost to Becker at home, 19-3 and in match #3, they dropped to Monticello at home by a score of 19-3.

Up next, they host Rocori May 3.

Hornet Girls Lacrosse

The Hornet girls fell to 0-3 with two more losses to Becker (24-1) last Thursday and to Monticello (14-0) Monday.

Next up, they travel to Chisago Lakes April 29.
