The Big Lake gymnastics team narrowly defeated Chisago Lakes last Thursday, winning by a score of 133.5750 to 133.0750. Every point was needed for the Hornets, who won despite taking first in only one category. 

Britta White took the top spot in the floor with a score of 8.9250. Right behind her was teammate Calla Morris. White, Morris, Naomi Huizenga, and Alli Lu finished 3-6 in the vault. Morris, Leah Uphoff, and White took second, third, and fourth on the bars. And Lu took third place on the beam. 

The team is now off until the new year when they host an invitational on January 4.
