The Big Lake gymnastics team lost a pair of Mississippi 8 Conference matchups against Monticello and Becker. 

Vs. Monticello

The team hosted the Magic last Thursday and lost 141.0000-137.4250. 

The floor was the Hornets’ best category with three top five finishers. Allie Lu took second, Calla Morris third, and Britta White fourth. Lu also took first on the beam and second in all around. Morris took third in the vault, fifth in bars, and fifth in all around. White finished second in the beam and fifth in the vault. 

Vs. Becker

On Tuesday the Hornets made the short trip north to Becker, where they lost 142.6500-136.6000. This time the bars were the best for the team, again with three in the top five. Leah Uphoff took third, Morris fourth, and Desiree Dudek fifth. Morris also finished third in the vault and fourth in all around. Lu also had three top fives with third in the floor, fifth in the beam, and fifth in all around.
