The Hornet girls basketball team lost 73-27 last Friday against conference foe Becker. 

That loss drops the Hornets’ record to 1-5 in Mississippi 8 Conference play and 2-11 overall. They are tied for sixth place in the conference along with Cambridge-Isanti and Zimmerman. 

The Jan. 21 game against Chisago Lakes has been rescheduled for Feb. 1.

The team gets right back into action later this week with two games. On Thursday, the Hornets hosted Cambridge-Isanti before heading to Buffalo on Friday for a non-conference matchup.
