This year’s Big Lake dance team will feature the largest roster in program history with 30 dancers, four coaches, and two managers. The Hornets will dance at 12 competitions this season, which is the most ever in a season. 

The team has already competed in a couple of events so far, including their home invitational just before Thanksgiving. Their schedule continues 12/5 @ St. Francis, 12/7 @ Cannon Falls, 12/19 @ North Branch, 1/4 @ PACT Charter, 1/10 @ Foley, 1/18 @ St. Michael-Albertville, 1/20 Home Invitational, 1/25 @ New Prague. Section playoffs begin 2/1 @ROCORI. 

The team features four seniors, all of whom are captains of the team. Those seniors include Victoria Lundquist, Jayden O’Brien, Madeline Peterson, and Calissa Pishney. The rest of the team includes Amanda Marcks, Brooklyn May, Audrey Myers, Alivia Voss, Maia Wenderski, Ruby Blakeney, Gillian Harrington, Morgan Panek, Liliah Schaller, HayLee Tough, Olivia Aughenbaugh, Keziah Awere, Jadyn Markfort, Bobbi Russ, Charley Davis, Elsie Jagusch, Camryn Spaeth, Jessica Osowski, Kyla Wenderski, Arlene Kaczor, Laney Langevin, Brooke Luoma, Melany Mitchell, Sophie Spurgin, and Avery Voss. The managers for the team are Alexis Gosewisch and Greta Schwirtz. 

The coaching staff includes Head Coach Kayla Olson and assistants Kiana Boleen-Pierson, Emily Merkley, and Madison Wahlberg.
