The Big Lake boys’ basketball team traveled to Perham over Christmas Break to take part in Yellowjacket’s annual Hoops at the Hive event where they went 1-1 in their two games. 

After falling against Sauk Centre in their opening game, 80-67, the Hornets bounced back with a 94-80 victory over Paynesville. 

Up next for the team is a home conference game against St. Francis on Tuesday January 7.
