The Bulldog varsity gymnastics team is involved in the Section 7A meet today (Saturday) in Monticello, hoping to punch a ticket to the state meet a week hence.

 

But their route will be a tough one, as the Bulldogs come into the meet seeded fourth among section teams.

 

The Sartell Sabres have enjoyed a wonderful year and this week were ranked No. 2 in the state behind Detroit Lakes; The Sabres will be the favorite Saturday, having scored a 147.875 in action this season.

 

Big Lake, the No. 2 team in the section, has a 143.033 score this year. They are ranked 10th in the state.

 

And the host Magic are ranked 12th, with a high of 141,692.

 

Becker comes in as the 15th ranked team in the state, with a high score of 141,042.
