The Becker girls gymnastics team held their end-of-the-season banquet last week and paid homage to the entire squad with certificates, medals and letters.

 

The Bulldog varsity gymnasts went 5-0 in the Granite Ridge Conference as well as their JV team. In Section 7A playoffs, Becker finished fifth behind Sartell, Big Lake, Monticello and Chisago Lakes.

 

Spotlight on Scholarship Awards  (Cumulative High School GPA of 3.0 - 4.0) went to: Emi Quill, Katie Wilke, Mackensie Cota, Keeley Holm, Amelia Kirchner, Faith Madsen, Cassie Hinrichs,Theresa Johnson, Tessa Maruska, Riley Norberg, Justine Vilmo and Sarah Woelfel.

 

All-Conference Academic Team  (Cumulative High School GPA of 3.75 - 4.0 and varsity) went to: Keeley Holm, Faith Madsen, Theresa Johnson, Riley Norberg and Sarah Woelfel.

 

Scholar Athlete Award  (to 11th-12th grade varsity team member with highest GPA) went to Keeley Holm.

 

Team Academic Award  GOLD 3.861.

 

Participant Recognition  went to: Mackensie Cota (11), Cassie Hinrichs (9), Tessa Maruska (9), Justine Vilmo (9), Norah Fitzpatrick (7), Hailey Deters (7) and Hailey Duncombe (7).

 

Letter Winners went to: (first year)   Theresa Johnson (9), Riley Norberg (9) and Lauren Woelfel(7); (second year)  Keeley Holm (11), Amelia Kirchner (11), Fallon Peterson (11), Faith Madsen (10) and Sarah Woelfe l(9); (third year) Emi Quill (12) and Katie Wilke (12).

 

Granite Ridge All-Conference  (placed first-12th in the GRC) went to: Emi Quill, Katie Wilke, Riley Norberg, Sarah Woelfel and Lauren Woelfel.

 

All-Conference Honorable Mention  (placed 13th-24th in the GRC) went to: Amelia Kirchner.

 

No one received all-state honors but four athletes received All-State Honorable Mention and they include: Emi Quill (floor), Riley Norberg (vault), Sarah Woelfel (vault, floor) and Lauren Woelfel (vault, beam).

 

Most Improved went to Fallon Peterson.

 

Most Spirited went to Katie Wilke.

 

Most Dedicated went to  Riley Norberg.
