The Becker Bulldog girls track teams traveled to Pierz last Friday and PIllager Thursday, taking first place in both invites.
Pierz Invitational
The Becker girls team came away with the team win beating second place Pierz by just one point.
“Last year they beat us by one point so it's a trade off,” said Head Coach Trish Reimer-Kealy.
Aubree Lahr had a very good day for Becker, winning the 300M hurdles (53.34), the pole vault (8 feet), and the triple jump with a 33'9" mark. Lahr also placed third in the 100M hurdles (18.36) behind Miranda O'Brien, who was second (17.57).
O'Brien also placed third in the 300M hurdles (54.32).
The 100M dash featured Cassidy Pleoger taking third with a personal record time of 13.44 and Sydney Stommes fourth (13.55). Pleoger also placed fourth in the 200M (PR 28.17) followed by Keeley Holm in fifth (28.26).
Payton Anderson placed fourth in the 400M (68.02) and Kayden Westin fifth (68.43).
Becker’s distance girls continued to perform well, winning the 800M,1600M and 3200M. They also took first and second in the 800M with Lexi Dehmer running 2:32.09 and Alayna Lindquist 2:40.78.
In the 1600M, Julia Bengtson took first (5:33.55) and Jackie Yoerg third (6:12.96).
Becker took the top three spots in the 3200M with Alli Hendrickson breaking 12 minutes for the first time this year (11:55.89) followed by Victoria Kolbinger in second (11:58.47) and Courtney Nuest in third (13:27.63).
The relays saw Becker take first in the 4x800M (Lindquist, Bengtson, Hendrickson, Dehmer) 10:13.40, second in the 4x100M (Hubbard, Adu-Gyanfi, Severson, Nikki O'Brien) 55.89, second in the 4x200M (C. Pleoger, Westin, Anderson, Noaeill) 1:58.63 and second in the 4x400M (Anderson, Bengtson, Lindquist, Dehmer) 4:32.55.
In the field events, Madi Kerzman continued to score well in both shot put and discus where she took second in both events (shot 33'5, discus 92'8). McKenna Edling was third in shot (27'9 1/2).
Triple jump had Hubbard placing fourth (30'11 1/2) and Anderson third in high jump at 4'6.
Along with Lahr’s success in the pole vault, Becker saw Severson take second at 6'6” and Keeley Holm third at 6'6”.
Reimer Invitational
Thursday, the girls hit the road for Pillager to participate in the annual John Reimer Invitational and took home first place in the event named after Coach Reimer-Kealy’s father.

Becker placed three girls in each of the 100M and the 200M races.
In the 100M, Sydney Stommes took second (PR time 13.43), Cassidy Pleoger third (13.58) and Jayna Adu-Gyanfi fourth (PR13.62).
In the 200M Keeley Holm placed third (28.0), C.Pleoger sixth (28.33), Adu-Gyanfi seventh 28.50). Payton Anderson placed fifth (65.04).
Becker placed three in the 800M as well with Lexi Dehmer running a great race, placing second behind Merten from Holdingford. Adeline Kent was seventh (2:41.54 PR) and Madison Pleoger eighth (2:43.72 PR).
Becker came in with the top three finishes in the 1600M as Dehmer took home first place in 5:23.48. Jackie Yoerg (second) and Adeline Kent (third) both broke six minutes for the first time (5:53.73 and 5:56.05).
In the 3200M, Victoria Kolbinger ran a 11:36.0 and Hendrickson 11:41.27 to qualify for the MSHSL honor roll. Courtney Nuest placed fifth in the 3200M, dropping her time to 13:20.69.
Aubree Lahr earned second place in both the 100M hurdles (17.01 PR) and the 300M hurdles (51.44 season best). Miranda O'Brien came in fourth in both races (17.45 equalling her PR) and 52.02 PR).
Lahr also took home first in the triple jump (33'6) and second in the pole vault (8'). Haley Hubbard earned a PR in the triple jump of 32' 7-1/2 for sixth.
High jump had Hendrickson tie for eighth at 4'6.
Madi Kerzman took home second place in the shot put and discus events. Her mark in shot was 32'6 and her discus mark was a PR for her at 104'. McKenna Edling was eighth in the shot put at 28'6.
The 4x800M relay featured Yeorg, Kolbinger, Nuest and Hendrickson and they brought home first place with a time of 10:28.39. Yeorg stepped in for ailing teammate Alayna Lindquist and ran her best race yet.
Becker’s 4x200M placed 4th. Team members were: Cassidy Pleoger, Kayden Westin, Makenna Noaeill and Anderson.
The 4x100M team took second place with a season best time of 52.94. Having good hand offs were team members Hubbard, Adu-Gyanfi, Holm and Sydney Stommes.
In the 4x400M, Becker ended up in the second heat and Anderson, Noaeill, Westin and Dehmer all ran very well and took second place with a season best time of (4:22.97).
