Wednesday, girls soccer played against Monticello, but unfortunately lost 3-0.

 

The first half consisted of tough defense from both teams, Becker and Monticello. Each team fought for control of the ball and made a many attempts to get a goal.  

 

During towards the middle of the first half, Monticello stepped up and got the ball very close to the shot, but was stopped by Becker’s goalie Aifen Bauer, who had multiple amazing saves during the game.

 

Becker had a great defense team from the back that played really hard and consisted of Joey Rothstein, Reilly Cencer, Tori Nelson, and Alli Zimmer. 

 

Becker and Monticello both had set up multiple good shots, but none of them were able to get into the goal.  This ended the first half with a tie game of 0-0.

 

During the second half, Monticello got three goals, but it wasn’t easy due to Becker’s pressure and passing.  

 

Becker fought hard and kept the pressure on but, after multiple attempts, Monticello got their first goal and then shortly after that got their second goal. 

 

The Becker girls tried to up their game and increased their pressure, but Monticello ended up scoring their last goal leaving the score 3-0.
