The Becker girls golf team played at Wapicada Tuesday and Stones Throw Golf Course Thursday in two Granite Ridge Conference meets.

 

On a partly cloudy, 60º day Tuesday in St. Cloud, the Bulldog girls golf team captured fifth place (233) behind Cathedral, Milaca, Foley and Albany.

 

Three golfers shared medalist honors as Marla Williams of Cathedral, Haley Hoskins of Milaca and Raeley Walz of Foley shot 47s to take first place.

 

Becker’s Ellie Goth was the team’s top shooter with a 50. She was followed by Hannah Garcia (55), Gretchen Graftaas (61) and Jenna Voigt (67).

On a beautiful, 65º sunny day,  the Bulldog girls traveled to Little Falls Thursday for a GRC invitational at Stones Throw Golf Course.

 

Macy Erson captured the top score with an 88. The Bulldogs (409) finished fourth  behind Milaca (384), Cathedral (391) and Foley (395).

 

The top 10 golfers Thursday were Erson (88), Molly Herker of Cathedral (89), Maya Murphy of Foley (92), Elaina Davis of Milaca (94), Ellie Banks of Milaca (96), Haley Hoskins of Milaca (96), Marla Williams of Cathedral (97), Claire Mettling of Milaca (98), Raeley Walz of Foley (98) and Brooke Lemke of Albany (98).

 

Team scores: 1). Milaca 384; 2). Cathedral 391; 3). Foley 395; 4). Becker 409; 5). Albany 417; 6). Mora 461; 7). Little Falls 482.

 

The girls play Monday at Blackberry Ridge, then Thursday at St. Cloud Country Club.
