Thursday, the girls hit the road to St. Cloud to compete against 18 area high school teams.
Becker finished 11th with a team score of 379.
Rachel Vogl shot a superb 86 to lead all Bulldog golfers. Ashley Neuwirth finished with a 95.
Detroit Lakes was the top team at the invite, scoring a 303.
“It was great to see Rachel and Haley (Thelen) have their best rounds of the year,” said Head Coach Steve Whittaker. “It was a good experience to play with a some of the state's best players and it really showed us where we are at compared to some of the state's best teams.”
Thelen and Cheyenne Piccolo each shot 99s.

Foley Invite
The girls golf team traveled to Foley Tuesday to play in Granite Ridge opponents at Stone Creek Golf Course.
The girls won the meet by 20 shots.
“Our best meet yet,” said Head Coach Steve Whittaker. “We are starting to show our potential and it is really exciting.”
Ashley Neuwirth was Becker’s best shooter and topped all golfers in the event when she shot a 43. Cheyenne Piccolo was right behind Neuwirth with a 44 and Aly Fisher and Macy Erson each had a 46 while Rachel Vogl finished with a 48.
Erica Brovold completed Becker’s scorecard by shooting a 54, but it was only the top four scorers from each team whose score counted.
Two teams tied for second place with 199s (Cathedral and Albany).
Sydnie Clapper (45), Alli Schiffler (49), Lexy Schneider (52) and Megan Wege (53) combined for Albany’s 199.
Ann Berden (47), Lauren Herker (50), Anna Faerber (51) and Liz Botz (51) combined for Cathedral’s 199.
Olivia Wolbert (46), Elaina Davis (51), Claire Mettling (51) and Leah Crain of Milaca scored a 200.
Kylee Funk (46), Maya Murphy (50), Raeley Walz (53) and Kasey Milstroh (53) of Foley scored a 202.
Erin Jones (61), Emily Wadding (68), Gabby Koch (72) and Alison Matykiewitz (72) of Mora scored a 273.
Becker’s next meet is Monday at Wapicada Golf Course in Foley followed by their final regular season meet in Milaca Thursday.
