Saturday’s outdoor events coinciding with the Becker Business Expo and Craft Fair have been canceled by the City of Becker.

“After thoughtful consideration regarding hosting this year’s Fat Bike Blitz race at Pebble Creek Golf Club on Saturday, February 22nd, staff has arrived at the decision to cancel the event for the 2020 year,” said Recreation & Leisure Assistant Director Josh Kuha.

“With conditions potentially being impacted by the nearby fire and the family/outdoor nature of the event, we could not continue to host in good conscience.  The safety of those attending the event is of the highest importance.”

“As we are only 48 hours from the start of the event, we felt it important to make this announcement to allow people to plan accordingly.  We thank all who have volunteered and supported the event over the past months and years.”
