The Becker-Big Lake varsity hockey Eagles lost to the Monticello Stars Saturday, 4-1
Jason Tonneslan scored the Eagles only goal with assists from Milan Kent and Taylor Giving to end the first period in a 1-1 tie at the Moose Sherritt Arena.
Monticello came back and scored once in the second period and twice in the third to take the win. The Stars had 36 shots on goal, the Eagles had 13.
The Eagles travel to Richfield Ice Arena Thursday evening to take on St. Paul Como Park and Richfield in tournament play. Saturday they play Windom Area at home at 2 p.m.
