The Eagles had a great season overall this year, but there were a few players who stood out for their team work and individual talent.
In varsity, Becker senior Corbin Kollar (#3) had a total of 25 goals and eight assists during the season. This amounted to 33 points over the span of 26 games.
Then, there is Big Lake Sophomore Tyler Schmitt (#2) who had 29 points total in the regular season, 2 in the section playoffs, and 31 overall (18 goals and 13 assists). Another team leader was Big Lake senior Tyler Ruppelius (#17) who scored 25 points in the regular season, 4 points in the section playoffs and 29 points overall (10 goals and 19 assists).
Leading in JV was Big Lake sophomore Austin Barzee (#15) who scored 15 points over the span of 16 games; he had eight goals and seven assists. Meanwhile, Becker sophomore Bennett Tatge (#61) racked up 14 points (eight goals and six assists). Becker sophomore Matthew Huffman (#19) also impressed with his six goals and seven assists throughout the season, giving him a total of 13 points.
The coaches are proud of all their players and enjoyed training the boys this season. There is a lot of increasing talent and potential to grow for next year.
