Eagles Fall To St. Paul Highland Park

The Eagles hockey teambegan their four-game road series with a trip to St. Paul Highland Park Saturday. The Eagles trailed early and were unable to recover, losing 4-1.
St. Paul Highland Park scored three goals in the first and a fourth goal to start the second period.
 
Corbin Kollar, with the assist from Austin Rydberg, scored the Eagles’ only goal midway through the second period. There was no score in the third period.
 
The Eagles served four minutes on two penalties. St. Paul Highland Park served six minutes for three infractions.
 
Despite not scoring more than one goal, the Eagles had more offensive shots on the goal than St. Paul Highland Park. The Eagles had 35 shots on the goal. Zach Piehl tended the goal all 51 minutes of play and faced 27 shots, saving 23.
