In last week’s story on the Becker 5th grade/11U baseball team, misspellings were noted on four of the players and coaches. The correct list of players and spellings is: Ethan Fitch, Bennet Tatge, Dylan Dircks, Jackson Thorn, Will Thorn, Kenny Foster, Frankie Schaap, Xavier Berthiaume and Brandon Kuhn. The team was coached by Warren Johnson, Brock Tatge, Justin Thorn and Kenny Berthiaume.
STATE CHAMPIONS! The Becker 4 baseball team won the 2014 Rec State Baseball Championship Aug. 1-3 in Brooklyn Park. The team consists of: (in no particular order) Ethan Fitch, Bennet Tatge, Dylan Dircks, Jackson Thorn, Will Thorn, Kenny Foster, Frankie Schaap, Xavier Berthiaume, Brandon Kuhn, Coach Warren Johnson, Coach Brock Tatge, Coach Justin Thorn and Coach Kenny Berthiaume.
