On Saturday, 4607 participated in the community-wide event Celebrate Becker.
At the event organizations and businesses displayed booths promoting what they do in the Central MN area.
C.I.S 4607 participated as a booth exhibitor and used this opportunity to showcase this year’s robot, Pitchfork, and the FIRST Power Up game.
During competitions C.I.S. uses the PIT to create brand awareness. This event was a good warm-up for team members.
They talked with community members, walked around wearing unique sandwich boards and played with kids in the bouncy houses.
The goal of attending the expo is to give the public an insight of CIS, what the team does, and the upcoming events that they will be participating in.
Last Wednesday, in replacement of the large group meeting, C.I.S. headed over to Sherco.
Members of 4607 had the opportunity to tour the facility and observe the work it takes to create energy in an efficient way.
Engineers took time out of their day to facilitate groups and educate the team on the life of an engineer and how the field is growing.
