The Becker dance team traveled to Eastview last Saturday for a meet that featured some of the state’s top teams. 

Included in the field were Totino-Grace, Benilde-St. Margaret’s, Orono, and Mound Westonka. Totino and BSM were last year’s Class AA kick and jazz champions. While Orono and Mound finished second and third in jazz. BSM also took third place in kick as well. 

The Bulldogs had strong performances in both jazz and kick. Their scores earned them an eighth-place finish in jazz and ninth in kick. 

On Thursday the team will travel to North Branch for the Mississippi 8 Conference championships.
