Bulldogs Lose To Tigers, 73 61

Nick Mittelstaedt once again led all scorers with 26 points, but his supporting cast wasn’t enough to overcome the Huthcinson Tigers last Friday night on the road.

It was the Tigers’ fourth straight win — the first time they’ve acheived that feat in nine seasons.

Junior Zach Kuseske led the way for Hutchinson, scoring a team-high 20 points while adding six rebounds and two steals.

Sam Rensch had 15 points and dropped two assists while Hutch finished with four players scoring in double figures.

The Callahan brothers, Cade and Carter, combined for 15 points while Carter Hietala had eight, Eric Seavert had six, Nick Knute had four and Cole Koste had two.

Other scorers for the Tigers were, Billy Marquardt  (14), Devon Verhasselt (10), Russell Corrigan (9), Jordan Klinker (4), Carson Hutton (2) and Brayden Johnson (2).

The Bulldogs (2-4) traveled to SCSU to play Holy Family Friday and Mahtomedi Saturday in the Granite City Classic Tournament.
