Bulldogs drop to 1-2 with loss to Otters

The Becker Bulldog football team dropped below .500 for the season with a road loss to Fergus Falls last Friday night, 28-7.

The Otters improved their season record to 3-0 while Becker dropped to 1-2.  

Becker broke through when Sawyer Brown hauled in an 81 yard touchdown pass from Tristan Kowalkowski to put the Bulldogs on the board, 21-7.

Kowalkowski finished five-of-18 for 119 yards and the one score.Brown was one-for-one for 23 yards when he quarterbacked the team for a play.

Nathan Weiss led the Bulldog ground attack with 43 yards on five carries. Through the air, Brown led the receivers with 127 yards including the 81-yard TD score.

On defense, Bennett Kujawa garnered nine tackles, four assists and one tackle for a loss. Cody Deters had four tackles, three assists and one tackle for a loss.

Up next, Becker celebrates Homecoming Friday when they host the 0-3 Princeton Tigers.
