The Becker Bulldog football team dominated their most recent game as they held St. Cloud tech scoreless in a 21-0 win last Friday night on the road.
The three scores came in the first three quarters of the game that featured a Becker defense that manhandled the Tigers and held them to just 97 yards total for the game.
Bennett Kujawa, Nathan Weiss, Tyler Hall, Gus Baldry, RJ Houle and Cody Deters all had two or more tackles in the win. Kujawa finished with six tackles, four assists, two sacks and one tackle for loss. Weiss and Hall each had four tackles and two assists, while Baldry had two tackles, four assists, two sacks and one tackle for loss. Houle had two tackles and one assist and Deters had two tackles, one assist, two sacks and one tackle for loss.
In the first, QB Tristan Kowalkowski capped a long drive by the Bulldogs with a three yard TD run to get the visitors on the scoreboard first.
In the second, Sawyer Brown reeled in a six-yard pass from Kowalkowski to put the Bulldogs up 14-0.
In the third, Nathan Weiss rolled into the end zone from two yards out to seal the deal at 21-0, while the rest of the game went quiet — except for the Dawg defense.
Kowalkowski finished with 87 yards through the air on seven-of-14 passing.
Weiss finished with 102 yards on the ground on 17 carries and the one TD.
Brown had 81 yards in receiving on six catches and the one TD.
The Bulldogs have now won two games in a row and have some momentum as they face their 2024 championship opponent, Totino-Grace on the road Friday.
