It didn’t take long for Head Coach Tina Tamm and the Bulldog swimming and diving team to make a splash in the opening dual meet of the season, as the team notched an outstanding number of times that were good enough to qualify for the section meet.
“We had a lot of really good swims and a lot of Section qualifiers for the first meet,” says Tamm. “In order to qualify for the section meet, the girls need to achieve a qualifying time for their event. The times depend on what the event is and after tonight’s meet we have 21 entries for the section meet.”
In addition to the excellent times, Becker also topped Milaca by an impressive score of 103-83 to pick up its first dual meet win of the year.
Here are the qualifiers by event: (and the overall place finish for the Milaca meet):
200 free: Meghan Swanson (1) and Delaney Varney (2);
