Coach Nick Crowley and the Becker Bulldog boys soccer team picked up another Mississippi 8 Conference win last Thursday with a 2-0 shutout in a home contest against Chisago Lakes.

A pair of Bulldogs had their first goals of the season in the Bulldog win, as senior captain Cole Kalinowski notched his first, followed by Mason Sundberg finding the back of the net for the first time.

Crowley was pleased with his team’s defense, as the Bulldogs were able to keep the Wildcat offense at bay for the entire game.

Tuesday night, it was again a defensive match with both the Bulldogs and their Zimmerman opponents playing tight defense en route to a 0-0 draw in another Mississippi 8 Conference match.
