It was a phenomenal week for the Becker boys track team, as they picked up a pair of wins and also scored a pair of champions at the Hamline Elite Meet. 

The Bulldogs won the meet scoring 142 points which was 2.5 points better than Alexandria’s 139.5.  Monticello and Osseo tied for third with 108.5, followed by Big Lake with 66, St. Cloud Tech with 56.5, Rogers with 39, and St. Cloud Apollo with 36.  

Pillager Meet

On Thursday, the Bulldogs took a smaller squad to Pillager but the results were the same, as they won the meet by scoring 235 points.  Pillager came in second with 147 followed by Ottertail Central, which scored 85.5 in this eight team meet.  

Hamline Meet

Friday, Owen Angell and Carter Reckelberg capped off the week competing at the Hamline Elite Meet.  

“Only the top athletes at this time of the year get into this meet,” Head Coach Paul Schmidt said.
