The Becker Bulldog boys basketball team split two games this past week and improved their season record to 5-2, 2-1 in the Granite Ridge Conference.
Albany 62, Becker 47
Kyle Birr had 19 points and eight assists to lead Albany on their home court past Becker in a Granite Ridge Conference showdown Thursday evening.
Kenny Weber had 12 points for the Huskies.
Michael Veldman led Becker with 17 points.
Becker 68, Big Lake 62
Michael Veldman led all scorers on the floor with 23 points as Becker won the nonconference game at Big Lake last Friday.
All 10 Bulldog cagers made the scorer’s sheet as Becker improved to 4-1 on the year.
The top scorer for Big Lake was Sam Jochum who had 15 points.
Also scoring in double digits for Becker were Blake Barthel and Dillon Radunz who each had 10 points.
