On Tuesday the Hornets girls basketball team welcomed Coon Rapids to town for an early season non-conference matchup. The visiting Cardinals were able to pull away for a 65-54 victory. 

The Hornets will be busy this upcoming week with games on Thursday, Friday, and next Monday. They will travel to Mound Westonka on Thursday before kicking off Mississippi 8 Conference play with a pair of home games. Friday the team takes on North Branch and then Princeton the following week.
