Emi Quill is the Section 5A champion in diving and has earned her third trip to the state meet at the UofM.
Quill went in to the finals of sections in second place behind Maggie Oliverius (from Monticello). Her final three dives delivered the difficulty and performance level to allow her to take the lead and the win. She dove at the state meet Wednesday and Friday of this week.
A full report on her state finish will occur in next week’s Citizen-Tribune.
