Becker wrestlers take 2nd in Rogers

Becker wrestling traveled to Rogers Dec. 27-28, to participate in the Rogers Holiday Matness tournament. 

Out of the 33 teams, Becker took second overall with a total score of 161.5 points, not far behind the first place winners of Scott West (173 points). 

Becker wrestler Odin Duncombe (107-lb) wrestled and won one out of his three matches. His win came in a second round fall. 

Jacob Williams (114-lb) took third place after he won four out of his five matches. Two of his matches ended in first and second round falls, while his other two matches ended in technical falls. 

Boston Kuschel (121-lb) took first place after he won all three of his matches, all ending in first round falls. Brady Anderson (127-lb) won one out of his three matches with his win being a 12-11 decision. 

Nolan Jurek (133-lb) took fifth place after winning three out of his five matches. Two of his matches were won by technical falls and the other match was won in a 11-3 major decision. Andy Fischer (133-lb) won one out of the two matches he wrestled. He one win was a 17-2 technical fall. 

Jake Rosenow (139-lb) won five out of his seven matches. Two matches were won by technical falls, two more matches were won by major decisions, and one match was won by a second round fall. Brayden Boots (145-lb) won one out of three matches with his win being in a second round fall. 

Jackson Fischer (145-lb) won one out his three matches with his win being a third round fall. Landen Kujawa (152) took second place after he won four out of his five matches. Three of his matches ended in technical falls and one of his matches ended in a first round fall. 

Kaden Nicolas took first place after he won all four of his matches. Three of his matches ended in second round falls and one of his matches ended in a 8-3 decision. Aiden Golley (189-lb) won one out of three of his matches with his one win being a 4-1 decision.
