The Becker Bulldog wrestling team enjoyed success at three recent meets.
Becker vs. Foley
On Thurs., Jan. 9, Becker Bulldog wrestlers hosted a meet against the Foley Falcons, beating them 54-16.
Odin Duncombe (107) started the night off with a second round fall against his opponent. Jacob Williams (114) received six points for a forfeit. Another six points was added after Boston Kuschel (121) bested his opponent in a first round fall.
Nolan Jurek (127) gave the team three points in a 16-9 decision. Bennett Kujawa (133) was awarded six points in a forfeit. A 25-10 technical fall was awarded to Landen Kujawa (145) and five more points were added to the team score. Another six points were awarded to Kaden Nicolas (152), who defeated his opponent in a first round fall.
Brayden Boots (160) defeated his opponent in a 13-2 decision and scored four points. Owen Angell (172) beat his opponent in a first round fall and received six points. Aiden Golley (285) beat his opponent in a second round fall and was the last wrestler to score that night.

Chisago Lakes
On Fri., Jan. 10, the Bulldogs traveled to Monticello to take on the Magic and the Chisago Lakes Wildcats.
There was no stopping the Bulldogs with six wrestlers beating their opponents by pins and five wrestlers winning their matches by forfeits.
Aaron Mlikowski (107), Owen Ochs (121), Bennett Kujawa (133), Jake Rosenow (139), and Brayden Boots (152) all recieved six points due to forfeits. Jacob Williams (114) beat his opponent in a first round fall and garnered six points. Boston Kuschel (127) and Landen Kujawa (145) noth bested their opponents in first round falls. Kaden Nicolas (160) received five points after beating his opponent in a 17-1 technical fall. Owen Angell (172) and Kendrick Tomasko (189) beat their opponents in first round falls.
The final score was Becker 65, Chisago Lakes 10.
Becker vs. Monticello
Just like the match against Chisago Lakes, the Bulldogs came to win and ultimately did. Six Bulldogs beat their opponents by pins and five wrestlers won their matches due to forfeits.
Aaron Malikowski (107), Boston Kuschel (121), Bennett Kujawa (133), Deegon Schmidt (215), and Aiden Golley (285) won their matches by forfeit and received six points each. Jacob Williams (114) beat his opponent in a 15-0 technical fall and was awarded five points. Tyler Hall (139) defeated his opponent in a third round fall and was awarded six points.
Landen Kujawa (145) and Brayden Boots (152) beat their opponents in first round falls and gave their team six points each. Kaden Nicolas earned five points after he beat his opponent in a 22-7 technical fall. Owen Angell bested his opponent in a first round fall which gave him six points.
