Thursday, the Becker girls finished their dual meet schedule with another loss but an overall good night of competition for everyone. 

 

The girls continue to drop times and strive for their season goals. Event winners for Becker went to Emily Quill for diving and Mallory Howe for the 200 IM and 100 Butterfly.

 

Rainna Friedman also qualified for the Section meet in the 50 Freestyle. The girls have two more opportunities left to make Section cut times. 

 

Section 5A team meet On Saturday, Emily Quill continued to win and break records. She broke the four year-old pool record and just missed her own varsity record by two points. There were a lot of good races at this meet. With this being the preview of the section meet, the same can be expected of the section meet in November. 

 

Becker girls posted 25 personal best times/scores at this meet. Big meets usually produce improved times and this meet was no different. Delaney Varney improved her 100 butterfly time enough to secure a spot in the section meet.
