Becker JV swim M8 Championships

The Becker JV swimming and diving team had a great performance at the conference championships, scoring many ribbon winners and some JV Champions.

“This is a fun end of the season meet where the JV girls can have more opportunities to swim and a final chance for them to get a section time,” Coach Tina Tamm said.  “We had a bunch of personal best times and walked away with a bunch of ribbons.”

Placing at the meet:

200 Medley relay - sixth place - Elle Aho, Kayleigh Duke, Kylar Graning, Macy Maksimenko; 200 Free - Alanah Awalt (third), Astrid Faul (fourth) and Kayleigh Duke (seventh); 200 IM - fifth place - Maddy Lewis; 50 free - Josie Reckelberg (second) and Lily Lamp (seventh); Diving - Violet Johnson in fourth, Kami Marquardt in fifth and Abri Lyon in seventh; 100 free - Lily Lamp (sixth); 200 free relay - fourth place - Lily Lamp, Elle Aho, Hazel Kortmansky, Macy Maksimenko and eighth place - Rosie McChesney, Ava Oeding, Madison Seiler, Emmy Anderson; 100 backstroke - fourth place - Astrid Faul;

100 breaststroke - Maddy Lewis (fifth), Kylar Graning (sixth) and Kayleigh Duke (eighth); 400 free relay - third place - Kylar Graning, Kayleigh Duke, Addison Kasper, Astrid Faul.

Winning the title of JV champion goes to Makayla Balut for diving, Kylar Graning for 100 butterfly, Josie Reckelberg for 100 free, and Addison Kasper for 500 free.
