Becker girls soccer ends season at 10-4-3

The Becker girls’ soccer team worked extremely hard this season, and it paid off with a 10-4-3 overall record.

They also received a second-place finish in the Mississippi 8 Conference and earned the number two seed in the 6AA sections. However, the girls did end up losing in the sectional semifinal against Monticello.

The team will miss graduating seniors Captain Avery Atwood, Lorelei Clouse, Meghan Person, and Gracie Bermel.

“Each of these seniors has contributed so much to the team, both on and off the field,” said coaches Arnold Changamire and Emily Barthel. “Their commitment, example, and love for the game have helped shape the culture of Becker soccer for years to come.”

Throughout the season, the girls worked relentlessly to show off their skills on the field with their teamwork, effort, and strong defensive presence. With rising talent from the JV team and strong returning varsity players, the future of the Bulldog’s looks bright.
