The Becker girls basketball team finished up a fine summer by winning the varsity tournament in STMA.

Becker went 3-0 to earn the title, downing Watertown-Mayer, Visitation, and Annandale.

Eilidh Mrnak was a consistent scorer for the team, showing off an impressive 3 point range, while JJ Stach attacked the basket and played great defense.

Coach Dan Baird also credited Alyse Denne with doing a fine job running the point guard position.

“As a team, our defense did a nice job talking and limiting the opposing teams to one shot,” Baird said.  “This was a nice way to end our summer.”
