Becker girls cross country ran a hard race at the Lucky Lindy and did very well.

Becker Girls Cross Country Dominates At Little Falls

Last Thursday the Becker girls cross country team did very well at the 52nd annual Myron Ahle Lucky Lindy Invitational hosted by Little Falls.
 
Becker started out strong with Victoria Kolbinger, who performed very well and achieved second place at 19:29.08.  She was followed by Alli Hendrickson, who placed third at 19:33.12.  
 
Lexi Dehmer was the third runner for Becker and finished ninth at a time of 20:14.38.  She has recently recovered from being sick and is getting stronger.   
 
Dani Nuest ran an aggressive race at 20:38.17 and placed 14th.  Behind her was Adeline Kent who performed very well and placed 24th at 20:38.17. 
 
Coach Kealy states,” She really brings her full efforts to every race she runs and we can count on her to be solid in every race.”
 
Megan Gregory and Maddie McDonald came in as the sixth and seventh runners of their team.  Megan got a PR of 22:46.87 and Maddie got a PR of 23:11.31. 
 
Coach Kealy states,”  Our younger girls are doing a good job of learning what it means to race instead of just run.  It looks like our team decided to make a statement today!” 
 
Becker JV did really well and placed sixth out of 15 teams. Becker also got to cheer on an old teammate who moved to Monticello. 
 
Abby Nelson came in 24 at 23:21.48 and was shortly followed behind by Jaden Kraus in 25 at 23:25.17.  Callie Doucette ran really well placing 32nd at 23:52.98.  
 
Rounding out the top seven were Kaylyn Wiehle at 24:12.42, Karly Kowalsky at 24:34.67, Alli Garding at 24:38.92, and Tate Spinner at 25:09.6.
 
Coach Kealy states,”It is fun to watch these girls support one another, compete with one another and give each other the respect and affection they each deserve!”
