Coming off three consecutive trips to the state tournament, the Becker dance team welcomes some new faces to the team. 

The Bulldogs lost 11 dancers to graduation from last year’s record setting team. This year they will bring in 13 new dancers and one new member of the coaching staff. The team hopes that these newcomers can step up and help the Bulldogs defend their Mississippi 8 Conference title.

The team has already started competitions, including their third annual home invitational. Becker hosted 15 teams, including five state participants from last year. Varsity Jazz placed fourth and Varsity Kick finished third. Both finished behind multiple state finalists from last year. 

Competitions continue for the team on 12/5 @ St. Francis, 12/7 @ Chanhassen, 12/14 @ Eastview, 12/19 @ North Branch, 1/11 @ Edina, and 1/25 @ Delano. Section playoffs begin 2/1 @ ROCORI. 

Dancers on this year’s team are Hallie Adelman, Lydia Bishir, Zoia Bulaienko, Gabriella Chapin, Savannah Cunningham, Abby Dahle, Rylee Felton, Ashlyn Frey, Autumn Gilbertson, Addelyn Goenner, Maddie Hickman, Aynsley Holm, Emily Huffman, Ellie Kinzel, Mia Kinzel, Hayli Kotzer, Haleigh Kuseske, Kendall Lamp, Payton Lechner, Ava Lundorff, Daphnee Meyer, Haylen Meyer, Kendyl Nicolas, Chloe Peterson, Anika Petroske, Natalie Pozorski, Claire Schendzielos, Greta Schmitt, Olivia Schueller, Abigail Spindler, Adelynn Southard, Jacey Toulous, Jenessa Toulouse, Alexandrea Vieau, Taylor Weismann, Finnley Wojciechowski, Anna Wynia, and Lila Zinken. 

The coaching staff is made up of Head Coach Nadia Fischer-Danzeisen and assistants Ava Holm, Autumn Martin, Rhi Edwards-Lieberman, Mel VanHofwegen, and newcomer Amy Jo Schlasner.
