Tuesday, Becker had many kids play well today in their match versus Cathedral winning 6-1 overall.  They swept the singles and had some good matches in doubles. 

 

This was their final regular season match, and the boys finished the regular season strongly: 14-6. 

 

The boys’ tennis team will have their next match at the first round of playoffs versus Willmar in Becker May 19 at 1:30 pm.

 

 

Becker boys’ tennis played Anoka Monday. They are a senior heavy team with lots of experience and it was evident. 

 

Anoka’s team played really well especially in doubles, whereas Becker was experimenting with some new pairings.  

 

 

May 4 Becker lost a challenging match to the Duluth East team.

 

However, junior Jacob Lukkarila (No.1 singles) and senior Caleb Quernemoen (No.3 singles) played strongly and won their sets.
