Becker Boys Soccer Loses 2 0

Tuesday, the Becker boys soccer played against Minnewaska at home, but lost.

The first half consisted of a strong defense and offense from both teams.  Becker and Minnewaska were chasing the ball all over the field, as each team had taken turns dribbling down to the goals and almost scoring.

During the first half of the game, Minnewaska broke through Becker’s defense to score their first goal.  After that the  Becker boys increased their intensity on the field, making multiple attempts to score.

The game grew even more intense during the first half, as Minnewaska began to increase their pressure and speed as well.  Towards the end of the first half, the audience sat on edge as each team was making several attempts to score.

During the second half of the game, both teams came back with even more intensity.  Both Becker and Minnewaska fought for control of the ball and of the field.

Becker and Minnewaska made several attempts at the goal, but just couldn’t get it in the net.  Both teams defensive strategies were strong and kept up their pressure.
In the middle of the second half, Minnewaska was able to break Becker’s defensive pressure again and score a second goal.

Becker fought hard and was able to keep the pressure away from their goal throughout the rest of the game.  The Becker boys made a couple more shots at the goal before the game was declared over.
