Becker boys golf continues to improve

The Becker boys golf  team hosted their first golf tournament of the season on April 17 at Pebble Creek Golf Course. The weather was much better compared to their last tournament. 

With a slight delay at the start and once the rain cleared up, the boys teed off. Becker finished eighth out of the 20 teams that particiapted. 

The leading Bulldog scorers were Carter Tatge (79), Tucker Tatge (80), and Carson Schwarzkopf (82). Nick Kilian rounded out the team’s score with an 87.

At Monticello

The team then traveled to their first Mississippi 8 Conference meet at the Monticello Country Club. This was the first meet where there was good golfing weather. 

The Bulldogs took fourth place, shooting a combined team score of 327. Becker’s top golfer was Tatge with a 76. Schwarzkopf hd an 81. Zach Simonson, Alison Johnson, and Nick Kilian all scored an 85, which aided in the teams overall score.

Their next meets are against St. Francis and Cambridge.
